Kenya

In 2006 Solace International began a relationship with the Young Generation Center (YGC), in Kisumu, Kenya. Over the past four years Solace  worked with the staff and local community leaders to construct new buildings, a medical clinic, two satellite campuses, and a host of sustainable small businesses and agricultural programs in the area.

Unfortunately, Solace ceased to work with YGC due to conduct that is inconsistent with the standards under which Solace operates. We wish only the best for them and will continue to try to develop opportunities for their education, health, and income.

We hope that a resolution of our differences will allow Solace to resume support of projects in Kenya. We would like to thank all those who gave their funds, time, and sweat toward the following string of great successes in Kenya.
